From time to time, I will list auctions on ebay. Many of
these
will be old music club CDs that used to be in my collection, and will
usually
be in excellent to mint condition. I rarely list just one or two
auctions, but opt to wait till I have a good number of items (usually
30
or more), so they can all be listed at once, and bidders can save on
shipping
for multiple auction wins. Also, I try to wait until there is at
least one or two rarities in the list of acutions, if not
several.
This is not guaranteed though. Since I typically post only a few
times a year, I will try to give some kind of official notice on this
page
a week or two before I post. I try to post on Sunday evening, and
if I have any current auctions, it will be mentioned on this
page.
Hopefully, I'll remember to take the notice off this page after the
auctions
are over.
You can be guaranteed of several things with all of my auctions:
A.) NO RESERVE -- I have no idea why anybody would
want
to use this anyway. It doesn't affect my maximum
bids, and I don't see why it
would affect anyone elses.
B.) A REASONABLE STARTING BID -- Most of the common CCM discs
I list will have a min. bid of $1 or $2.
Only the rarest CDs might have
a min. bid of more than $9.99.
C.) LOW SHIPPING -- Anyone who has ordered from me knows that
one of my pet peeve rants is how often people
try to use shipping charges
as a way to get more money. We've all seen the auctions for a
single
CD, with a
shipping charge of $5.
The absolute most it should cost is $3.50 priority. But I give
winning
bidders the option
of any shipping method they
want, as well as my best estimate of actual shipping charges.
Bubble
envelopes are
provided free for first class
shipping. See this page
for
other details
D.) A SATISFACTORY TRANSACTION -- My feedback
should be evidence of this

NOTE - Since I have very rarely listed items on
eBay over the last decade, I will make a promise that any auction
batches I hold should be advertised several weeks in advance on my
sale/trade pages, and probably won't happen more than once a year at or
near the beginning of the year. I have also begun a practice of
giving away CDs to trick-or-treaters at Halloween, so any stagnant CDs
that don't sell on my sale/trade page will probably be put into the
running for the Halloween giveaway pile. I don't have a steady
enough supply of really rare CDs to justify all of the work of listing
large batches of CDs on eBay or other auction sites anymore, so I
anticipate using those forums for my duplicate music items very rarely.
If you are interested in trading for OOP or hard to get Christian
music, then visit my trade page.
I'll also be listing my sale items
starting New Year's Day in 2015.
