Comments: The original 1984 6-song version of this debut EP was heavily remastered and reproduced for this 1986 re-release.  This version is much more polished, and the big in-your-face guitars featured in the original mix have almost been completely muffled out.  Most comments I have read on the internet denounce this version as very inferior to the original...and I have to join that chorus in agreement.  Two addition songs (tracks 3 and 8) were added to try to turn it from an EP to a full length album of sorts.  Track 8 was originally released on the "Reason For The Season" single in '84.  I'm not positive, but I believe this re-release was the first Stryper release to include track 3.  Very unfortunately, this version has ended up being the official "final" version of The Yellow And Black Attack, having been reissued numerous times over the years along with the other Stryper albums.  The original '84 mix of the EP has never (officially) been issued or reissued on CD to date, and this is including the ultra-rare orginal Japanese CD version which features the original missle/hand cover art from the '84 EP.
