Comments: One listen to the lyrics on track 2 (3rd line of 1st stanza says something about "horny girls") should be proof that this isn't even the same pseudo-spiritual Q. Stone of Pink On Blue.  The liners mention Mikko Kuustonen - the chief lyricist of the 1st 2 albums - as being still in the band on vocals, but he only sings lead on tracks 3, 10 and 12.  Hessu Silvennoinen sings lead on all the rest, and he is the lead vocalist on all tracks of their last album, No Substitute.  I've read a biography of Mikko which said that he officially left the band after Pink On Blue.  So it's probably safe to say that whatever role he had in the making of this album was very limited.  Musically these last 2 albums have a bit more of a rock edge than the first 2.  I like the lyrics on No Substitute a little better than this album, but they're both clearly secular albums.  (While I'm a bit choosy with my lyrics, I don't mind the lyrics on these two albums much.  Most of the song subjects are typical secular blues stuff - struggling relationships and hard times.  There's very little that's offensive or amoral, and I haven't noticed any offensive words either.)  These European-only releases can be a bit hard to find, but when you do find them, don't think you've got to pay big bucks for them.  They don't appear to be highly sought after on eBay, frequently going for $10 or less after international shipping charges if the min. bid is low enough.
