Comments: I'm not sure of my terminology here, but this CD reissue of the original '68 LP hasn't been ?mixed? at all from the original release, so the instruments are split up between ears when listening through headphones.  The vocals are the only element which aren't split.  So, in other words, this CD is much easier to listen to through speakers.
