Comments: The few short liner notes say "I dedicate
this
CD to all the Warriors. Don't let them die in vain: Always use a
condom and practice safe sex." Of course, this would be a far
bolder
and more accurate Christian statment if it further defined "safe sex"
in
it's only 2 instances - abstinence or marriage. However, reading
the '99 interview conducted shortly after this release indicates that
Blackhouse
doesn't consider itself a Christian industrial band. Yeah, yeah,
this sounds all too familiar in the Christian music genre, but most of
the lyrics on earlier Blackhouse releases are a lot bolder than this
interview
suggests. Most of the vocal tracks on this CD are too fuzzy to
comprehend,
or are limited to little more than the song title, and there's no lyric
sheet (all of which is pretty typical). So it's difficult to tell
if Blackhouse is watering down the message more than usual, as the word
"condom" in the liners would indicate. Also, the cover art is
bound
to offend many conservatives, so I've refrained from posting it.
If you really want to see it, go to the Blackhouse
home page. The aforementioned interview - probably the only one
ever
conducted with Blackhouse - can also be read on the home page.
