Comments: She went country (why, Susan, why????).  This isn't anything like her previous albums - pure secular country, not that there's anything terribly wrong with that.  Just like Amy Grant, I guess she wanted to branch out and take a stab in the secular market.  But that crowd is so much larger (and easier to get lost in) than her CCM roots.  So, like Amy, we'll just have to watch her carve out her own career, like she should, and then see what happens.  Maybe she will be a big hit.  But somehow, I can't help thinking that she probably won't stand out among the crowd as much as she did in CCM.
