A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Who is Christian Hancock? Well, for starters, I am the one and
only ccmrockman. See the music portions of my site for further
details about what this pseudonym stands for. I am a mechanical
engineer by degree with a license in the States of Texas and
Louisiana. I'm
currently working and living in and around the Shreveport/Bossier City,
Louisiana, area. I grew up the oldest of 7 children. While
one of my siblings ended up passing away young, all the others are
still alive and well. None of them have a personal website to my
knowledge, but I believe all of them are active on Facebook. I have a Facebook account as well, but
am currently not using it and and can be found on other social media
platforms. I'm not really interested in building up a large
friend list of people
I don't know, so if you happen to find one or more of my social media
accounts and I don't know
you well or at all, then don't be hurt if you send a friend request and
I don't accept. I prefer to
only accept requests from those that I will readily have name
recognition of. My family grew
up in Vicksburg, MS, where I attended Vicksburg High School. I
obtained my engineering degree at Louisiana
Tech University shortly before the new millenium, and while I have not
stayed in touch with how things are going over there, as far as I know
it has remained over the years a commendable institution of higher
learning (one of the few in this country) that I would probably
continue to heartily recommend to anybody looking for a good education
in
engineering and life in general without most of the liberal
counter-culture indoctrination, activism, and idiocy that is frequently
found at other universities with higher name recognition in pop
culture. And
last, but certainly not least...actually most important...I am a Christian.
Here's some
other limited info about my hobbies and interests.
MY HOBBIES
1. Christian Music
2. Classic Video Games (strictly 2D systems)
3. Drumming (non-performance)
4. Organizing
5. Good Citizenship
MY CHURCH OF CHOICE
I attend the Anglican Catholic Church (ACC), which is one of the
many "breakaway" groups from the (Protestant) Episcopal Church (ECUSA
or PECUSA). The ACC is continuing the traditions of catholic
worship and
scriptural orthodoxy that were gradually abandoned by ECUSA
beginning in
1976. We are one of the two or three largest bodies in the
"continuing Anglican movement" which had its beginnings with the
Congress of St. Louis in 1977, and do not currently claim any official
association with the "mother" Church of England which has also been
slowly but surely abandoning its traditions and moving toward
apostacy. We are also one of the largest
Anglican bodies, if not the largest, that is still exclusively
practicing the Anglican faith in its most historically authentic and
orthodox fashion, with a male-only priesthood and a diverse collection
of parishes with a variety of preferences in their Sunday worship
service - ranging from a "low church" prayer-book-only Holy Communion
service to a "high church" missal mass with "smells and bells" and
liturgical ceremonies that might be familiar to older Roman Catholics
who
remember and loved their worship services prior to the Second Vatican
Council. We are a catholic
church in the historically informed use
of the word, which is not exclusively owned by the Roman Catholic
Church, and are one of three major church bodies, along with the Roman
Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church, which can legitimately lay
claim to religious traditions and worship services that date back to
the early church apostolic period. For those who are familiar
with catholic tradition, we do believe in the Real Presence, as did the
Episcopal and Anglican Churches of old throughout most of its history,
and we also claim to be part of
the Apostolic
Succession. The primary book of worship is the 1928 Book of
Common Prayer, however I believe that many other older prayer books are
allowed in our cannons. While there are probably 30+ other church
bodies all claiming to be part of the "continuing Anglican church"
movement, most of which are also claiming to be the "real"
continuing
Episcopal Church in
the
United States, the ACC is one of the few with a significant number of
congregations in the United States and a sizeable number of
congregations in other countries. We are an international church,
with most of our overseas parishes in Africa, the UK, and
Australia.
The ACC does, however, share the struggle of many other smaller
traditional churches with a low percentage of overall membership in the
United States and a small number of congregations compared to other
U.S. church bodies, which may lead to the perception that we are a lot
smaller than we really are. A significant percentage of U.S.
citizens, especially in the South, would have to drive distances of 1
to 3 hours before
reaching the closest ACC parish.
On a side note, the Anglican Catholic Church is continuing to work toward unification with other continuing Anglican church denominational groups that are committed to the preservation of orthodox Anglicanism in its truest form. We are presently in full communion with three other U.S. jurisdictions - The Anglican Church In America, Anglican Province of America, and Diocese of the Holy Cross - and are collectively calling our group the G-4. I feel it is a safe to say that most ACC members would feel comfortable recommending any of these jurisdictions to seekers of orthodox worship in the historical Anglican rite which follows the traditions and beliefs of the Church Of England and Episcopal Church up through the early 1970s while they were still an accurate reflection of apostolic Christianity. Additional conservative orthodox Anglican jurisdictions I am familiar with are the United Episcopal Church of North America (UECNA) and the Anglican Provice of Christ The King (APCK). These two jurisdictions were in discussion with the ACC several years ago about working toward becoming a possible united body, but the talks appear to have been stalled or discontinued for now. As of this time, I do not know of any issues with their leadership or canons that would prevent me from recommending attendance there rather than a G-4 church if a UECNA or APCK church is within a significantly closer driving distance.
POLITICS/CURRENT EVENTS
I had never been very interested in current events and politics
prior to my working years, but once I finished my formal schooling and
started listening to Rush Limbaugh on a regular basis, that immediately
changed.
My interest in the history of this great nation I am privileged by God
to have been born a citizen of has increased 1000-fold, and I wish like
most
people
that I could go back to my high school years and pay a lot more
attention
in those history classes than I did. I would definitely identify
myself today as a conservative and a nationalist. Like most
conservatives, I have
become
increasinly concerned about the globalist direction that our political
leaders of
the past several decades have been trying to take
us in. I fear that the hard times for this country are only
beginning unless more people are vigilant in their determination to
become informed through credible
media sources that are committed to honest, objective reporting and
analysis, as well as education and not socialist/globalist
indoctrination. While the
eventual rise of god-hating societies and governments (leading to the
end times, Antichrist, etc.) is a prophesied and unavoidable reality to
the serious Christian, I would feel remisc if I allowed dwelling on
these
things to discourage me from fighting to preserve the liberties that we
have enjoyed in this country, which have led to the unprecedented
economic advantages we have enjoyed thus far, along with little to no
concern of invasion and being overthrown by outside societies or
military
forces. But, like every historical nation of significance, we are
in much greater danger now than ever of starting down the familiar path
of
internal self destruction. While I will certainly be the last one
to claim that Rush Limbaugh and other talk radio are not agenda driven
programs, I feel
certain that they clearly demonstrate - to all who have the
intelligence
and patience to give it a chance those sources a chance for six
straight weeks or more - how
inadequate most television and newspaper media sources are at any
remaining idea
of objective journalism. By the same token, I believe that a
program that attempts to give a completely "objective" reporting of
politics...i.e. play stupid to some degree and just "report" what
so-and-so said or did without trying to give any sort of analysis while
making a stand for right over wrong or for moral vs. immoral...would be
very unlikely to hold most people's interest for very long. While
I have been fairly satisfied with my primary sources of talk radio
(Rush Limbaugh Show, Mark Levin, Dana Loesch, etc.), conservative news
aggregate sites (The Liberty Daily, Revolver News, Citizen/Populist
Free Press, etc.), and most recently, additional sources with a strong
connection to President Donald Trump's populist/nationalist MAGA
movement (The National Pulse, Bannon's War Room, etc.), I always
welcome recommendations by other conservative-minded people interested
in having an educated opinion that is well
balanced and shaped by credible news sources that accurately reflect
the beliefs of (whether I agree with them or not) REAL Americans who
love this nation the way it was founded and want to continue its
progress
in that regard rather than descending into the depths of socialism to
join other European and half-functional societies that are tyrannized
by political correctness and an ultimate objective of stamping out any
notion of right or wrong, while increasing tyrannical government and
attempting to limit our natural God-given rights. Below are just
a few of the many recommendable sources, largely on radio and online,
to get Real News as I like to call it (rather than what President Trump
so aptly coined "Fake News") and competent analysis of current events
with the mindset of preserving this nation as founded.
(**note that Rush Limbaugh passed away on Feb. 17, 2021 - while
there will never be another quite like him, his show
will hopefully continue to be an irreplacable part
of the conservative movement in some capacity going forward**)
One of the best grassroots conservative political movements in the
last 2 decades was the Tea Party movement which started in 2009 and got
a lot of people significantly involved in politics for a spell, or
longer, who were not formerly...including yours truly. Contrary
to most of the typical lies
about conservatives and most things conservative which are uttered by
socialist demagogues of all stripes and then repeated or "reported" by
television media sources, the Tea Party was NOT some racist far
right-wing extremist organization run and/or controlled largely by the
Republican Party, Talk Radio or some popular conservative
figurehead. The Tea Party was comprised largely of concerned
citizens, typically pro-life, God fearing, and small-government
conservative minded, who were focused on preserving our country as it
was founded and holding its leadership to constitutional government and
legislation, as well as promoting future political leaders who showed
legitimate promise of following through in their declarations for
moving the country in this direction, and seeing to it that those
leaders who refuse to observe and respect the constitution and other
founding documents are defeated electorally if at all possible.
The movement lost a lot of steam after the 2010 mid-term elections
after people started realizing that the Republican Party leadership is
not conservative and never has been. After the Big Steal of the
2020 Elections by the Communist Democrat Party, and aided by enough
backstabbing from Uniparty traitors posing as Republicans, most of whom
are bought and paid for by the Chinese Communist Party, I hope a much
larger percentage of however many true patriotic Americans remain in
this country are waking up to the fact that, if we do not start working
together and get involved in all aspects of the political process,
especially elections, and start seeking out and strongly standing with
quality candidates who cannot be bought by CCP money, our generation
may be the last to experience the true freedom of our founding
documents. It still remains to be seen whether the Republican
Party can still be salvaged and "taken over" by real conservative or if
a 3rd party (which I believe would only stand any chance of success
starting out under the leadership of a well loved and respected figure
like President Donald Trump, and only with added support from at least
one or two of the big conservative media names above) is the only path
forward for true conservative and patriotic Americans to unite
under. It might take a few election cycles to start winning, but
the Republican Party was not yet 10 years old after first forming in
1854 when it won its first victory in a U.S. Presidential
election. And...we all know what happened after that!
Nobody who truly loves this country wants another war between the
states, and a larger percentage of people every year are starting to
fear that one is inevitable. The only guaranteed way I see that
it could be avoided is if God-fearing Americans who love this country
finally start really working together, under a new party banner if
necessary, and continue to do their DUTY of good citizenship by STAYING
INVOLVED in politics and the political process. Good people can
disagree, but ultimately, we will get the leaders we deserve. We
will also get the children we raise...or hand off to the globalist
educators in Public Schools and some private schools to raise for
us. The Communists are trying to complete their color revolution
by permanently rigging elections, rigging the judicial system by
packing the courts and Supreme Court, and running roughshod over our
Constitutional rights in the process. We have to stand strong,
get involved in one or more local or national groups focused on
electing decent people to public office, and then stay involved in
those groups and work together toward a common goal of electing a much
better class of leadership than we have had over much of the last
century. There is a reason the Nation of Israel back in Biblical
times kept falling into sin. Not only did they succumb to
globalist peer pressure and demand a human king to lead them rather
than the King of Kings, but they failed to pass on the Faith of their
spiritual fathers down to their children. It only takes one or
two generations. Will our generation be the one that finally
abandons the amazing founding documents that our divinely inspired
Founding Fathers risked, and in many cases, ended up sacrificing their
lives, fortunes and sacred honor for? I can't only speak for
those I know who agree with me, but I will never be party to such a
betrayal of future generations. My ultimate duty, as a proud
Believer in Jesus Christ, is to see to it that I share the Gospel of
Truth in the most effective manner possible, but right after that comes
my duty to stand for my unalienable God-given rights as a free citizen
of these United States. Join us and play a role in saving this
country for future generations. Ultimately, it's all in God's
hands, but I still believe the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14 applies
today if those who still claim faith in the One True God will do our
part - pray, seek Him, and work together to elect God-fearing leaders
and to truly make this one nation under God again.
Here are just a few of the many organizations out there that
appear to me to be worthy of supporting or getting involved in to do
our part in exercising responsible citizenship and opposing the ongoing
greatest attack on American Sovereignty in our history. I'm sure
there's several more that I am not remembering, and as I do, I will try
to find the time to add them to this list below. If you would
like to make a suggestion, feel free to email me or contact me on
social media if you happen to come across one of my accounts.
